What everyone quotes
Labor is the visible half
People, times hours, times rate. That number is real. It's not the whole bill.

Beyond the labor line
What the spreadsheet skips
Margin
A deduction comes off product already made and shipped.
Shelf space
A late ASN can cost you the truck on a promo week.
Buyer trust
Repeat misses show up on the buyer's scorecard.

None of it is on the napkin math →
The two numbers
One process. Two totals.
Napkin number
Labor plus rework. The back-of-envelope estimate.
$56,609 at 3 coordinators, 8 hrs/week
Full bill

The lightbulb
No report calls it "data entry"
Deductions land on the AP report. Rush freight lands on the freight bill.
Reconciliation lands on a calendar invite, not an IT budget line.
Add them up, and the missing integration already has a price tag.

How it works
Two steps, one number
No spreadsheet required.
Step 1
Coordinators, hours per week, and loaded hourly rate.
Step 2
Five numbers off dashboards you already run.
